Vision:
The wider scope of the laboratory is to develop
intelligent systems for image sequence analysis and processing leading
to semantic understanding of the image/video content. The ultimate
objective of such a system is to simulate human cognition and hence
develop the ability to make useful inferences based on the image/video
content. One of our key objectives is to develop intelligent algorithms
for large-scale autonomous video surveillance.
